Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

AMMROC is going through an exciting growth and transformation phase where we are looking for strong talent to take our business to a world class customer support organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

•Manage the procurement cycle from purchase order to payment of invoice.
•Coordinate with production, completion and repair departments to set priorities and time-lines
•Negotiate and manage lead times
•Manage vendor relationships and performance issues
•Control costs and perform price analysis
•Maintain accuracy of purchasing documents and data
•Be aware of and follow applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, hazardous materials requirements, repair station requirements, FAR’s & DFAR’s and AAMROC policies
•Responsible for overseeing the procurement of fixed and /or rotary wing requirements in the direct support of the MRO operations
•Responsible for the supervision of all purchasing personnel

Requirements

Key Performance Indicators

•Solid understanding of ACE/Lean continuous improvement implementation
•Purchasing turnaround time
•Negotiation, technical skills related to product and supply chain
•Focus on results
•Experience in supply chain management (such as purchasing and Material forecasting) in military fixe and rotary wing aircraft MRO operations
•IT supply chain functional capabilities experience is a plus
•Effective communications with internal leadership, suppliers and MRO customers

Experience and Education

•BA/BS Degree with 4-7 years of experience management / supply chain/business environment/logistics
•MA/MS Degree with 2-5 years of experience management/supply chain/business environment/logistics
•Experience attention to detail, enjoy complex problems and communication skills
•Project management
•Customer/Supplier relationships

Position Competencies

•Excellent organizational, interpersonal and English oral/written communication skills
•Solid strategic and analytical thinking, data manipulation and financial analytical skills
•Effective in managing conflict and working collaboratively in teams
