Chief Diagnostic Engineer

Davidson Consulting is a company based in Europe and in Middle East (1200 engineers).

We work in Energy field, Railway and Telecommunications.
In UAE we are based in Dubai and we are opening new offices in Abu Dhabi and in Doha.

For our expertise department, we are looking for a Chief Diagnostic Engineer to represent our client to Qatari Authority.
You will be in project for 2 years.
Our clients is a vendor of LV/MV/HV equipment.

The responsibilities are:
- Define Asset Condition with Health index of all Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Asset
- Link Current Condition to Performance
- Estimate future condition, performance and remaining life
- Evaluate consequences of failures (network performance, environmental, financial)
- Quantity risk for each asset class
- Prioritization and Ranking of Assets (failure probability, condition, impact)
- Suggest Remedial Measures
- Analyze site date related to partial discharge and infrared thermography
- Review reports along-with client and defend the conclusions made in the reports for the assigned assets health indices
- Review reports and analyses the abnormal cases

Requirements

- Diagnostic experience is a must (partial discharge, thermography, oil analysis, R&D).
- Bachelor or Master Degree or PhD in electrical engineering.
- 5 to 15 years' experience in MV/HV (transformer, substation of ABB or Alstom Grid or Siemens or Mitsubishi....)
- Arabic is an asset.
