Job description / Role
My client is a boutique real estate investment company based in Dubai. An opportunity has arisen for a Chief Engineer to join their team.
The Chief Engineer will have a team of 3 Senior Engineers/ Managers reporting to him. The portfolio that the Chief Engineer will be responsible for includes 5 star hotels, prestige apartments and high end retail projects.
Main Responsibilities:
Collaboratively manage all facility and construction functions
Devise and implement strategies in respect of the delivery of operations to properties under management
Be instrumental in planning how each property will be managed
Managing the delivery of FM contracts and managing the contracts (hard and soft services)
Carry out technical review of different properties
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
10 years + of work experience within the PM/ FM field in the hospitality sector
Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
Technically sound
UAE experience is highly preferred
Strong project management skills
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects
