ABOUT CLIENT:
Offshore Marine client is seeking a Master Mariner with LNG/LPG Tanker experience.

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
A Marine Chief Engineer holds complete responsibility for the operation of the engine room and any maintenance of machinery onboard the vessels.
The Marine Chief Engineer must maintain inventory for any spare parts, extra fuel and oil. This inventory must be kept up to date.
The Marine Chief Engineer must also ensure that the engine room is well kept and prepared for inspection by higher authorities, and it is the Marine Chief Engineers responsibility in the event that the inspection finds the room unsatisfactory.
Chief engineer should ensure that the maintenance of incinerator is carried out as per the rules and regulations laid down by the management.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Holding valid certificates of competency (COC) wwith STCW endorsement.
Cheif Engineers (>3000kW) unlimited.
Preferably with 12 months sea service experienced as CE on LNG (membrane)
Medically Fit with no medical history or any serious medical.
Sail on Malaysia Flag vessel.
