Chief Estimator / Estimation Manager - Main Contractor - Dubai

Due to continued growth in the GCC and the fact we have recently won another very large project, we are now inviting candidates to apply for the position of Chief Estimator / Estimation Manager. You will be working for a major top-tier local contracting organization, on various building projects based in Dubai.

JOB TITLE: Chief Estimator / Estimation Manager
LOCATION: Dubai
REMUNERATION: 25,000 – 30,000 TAX FREE (figure includes accommodation & transportation allowances)
BENEFITS: Annual return flight to point of origin and medical insurance

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Chief Estimator / Estimation Manager, you will have the following core responsibilities:

• Manager a team of project estimators, reporting into the board
• Prepare the pre-qualification and tender documents
• Assess the viability / profitability of projects, including the impact of design changes and schedule slippages
• Oversee all staffing requirements, take responsibility for training and development of staff and supervise all project work activities
• Co-ordinate with suppliers and subcontractors

THE COMPANY PROFILE:
A major UAE based main contractor, who are part of a much wider group of 30 companies. They have over 3 decades of experience working in the building construction industry in the Middle East and they have worked on a wide range of projects including Luxury Villas, High-Rise Buildings, Shopping Malls, various Commercial Buildings and Hotels.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CHIEF ESTIMATOR / ESTIMATION MANAGER
In order to be successful in your application for the Chief Estimator / Estimation Manager, you must be able to demonstrate / have achieved the following:

• Previous experience working for main contractors in the Middle East region
• A minimum of 10 years of experience working in an estimating role
• A strong background, predominantly in building contracting
