Job description / Role

Salary: AED 65,000 - 70,000 + Care Family Benefits + Bonus

One of the regions leading conglomerates is looking to appoint a Strategic and Commercial CFO to manage the development of a large scale business unit and provide the strategy to ensure divisions growth plans, goals and objectives are achieved.

The role will be based in Dubai, UAE and will suit a highly strategic and commercial CFO from a large and complex business, ideally a multinational environment or one with multiple business units or locations.

The Duties:
- Establishing corporate financial strategy, policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial impact for business decisions and present key findings to the CEO.
- Provide strategic direction and analysis for new ventures, mergers or acquisitions.
- Establish the budget for the business unit.
- Provide regular valuation of assets and monitor progress against budget. Manage the financial reporting process.
- Work closely with the CEO and other business heads in preparation of the strategic direction of the divisions business plan.
- Work closely with Corporate Finance to prepare annual budgets for Business Units, conduct variance analysis and identify any issues and corrective action as required.
- Support the CEO with the evaluation of new business initiatives. Partner with him in evaluating commercial terms and joint venture management agreements.
- Manage working capital for current and future investment opportunities and excess liquidity.
- Lead and develop a team and ensure they are progressed within the business.

Requirements

- Qualified accountant, preferably in a management accounting discipline (CMA or CIMA).
- Be able to demonstrate prior strategic planning, business growth and M&A activity exposure.
- Strong experience in management accounting.
- Strong CV, having worked for other big multinational companies.
