Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization. He will supervise the finance unit and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization. The CFO will report directly to the Group CFO/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and directly assists the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.

About the role:
Extensive experience in Financial Management, Financial Reporting and handling of treasury related matters.
Extensive experience in strategic financial planning, review of financial statements, preparation and review of financial budgets/forecasts and analyzing periodic variances.
Worked on the implementation & sustainment of information systems like Oracle.
Extensive experience in evaluating design and operating effectiveness of Internal Controls, formulation of policies & procedures, system development and implementation.
Worked on acquisitions and financial due diligence.
Coordinating due diligence reviews of New Business Ventures.
Experience in external and internal auditing.
Leading medium to large size teams, providing coaching and building bench.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate:
Aptitudes to partner with, team up and lead cross functional teams to develop effective financial, operating and business solutions.
Highly ambitious, hardworking and self-motivated individual having over than 10 years of MNC (FMCG) experience. Strong Financial Management experience.
Audit and Internal Control evaluation experience.
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Focused Team Building approach and Leadership capabilities.

Education & Qualification:
Professional Financial / Accounting qualification.
Bachelors Degree.
15+ experience with the last 5 years in a senior leadership role.
MS Office Applications with proficiency in spreadsheet based work
Familiar with an ERP based work environment.
Capable of working on different computer systems.
