Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Manages and enhances KSAs finance activities and monitors all financial affairs, including accounting, control, treasury, reporting, planning, internal audit, budgeting, financial modeling and financial systems.
- Formulates and implements short and long-term strategic financial objectives for the Company, in line with the overall business strategy.
- Responsible for ensuring the company complies with local and international accounting standards and procedures. This also includes an adherence to local taxation rules and inland revenue submissions including the filing of sets of accounts of the company (if applicable).
- Ensures that accounting operational standards are met by contributing financial information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
- Develops internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
- Prepares or directs preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Develops and maintains relationships with banking, insurance, and non-organizational accounting personnel in order to facilitate financial activities.
- Provides direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures, and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.
- Reviews and Reports on monthly accounts & variances.
- Analyzes cash flow, cost controls, expenses and financial statements to guide senior management to pinpoint potential weak areas.
- Ensures record systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
- Leads and manages the budget process. Prepares and presents the annual budgets.
- Manages and minimizes Companys financial risk exposure by developing and maintaining systems of internal controls, liaising with Companys Internal Audit and risk management functions as appropriate.
- Provides proactive recommendations on how to best improve financial, managerial, and operational performance, including contributing to evolving a business plan, calculating proposals and pricing models and budgeting.
- Responsible for the Performance Management of all team members
- Performs other duties as required

Requirements

- B.Sc/B.A. Degree or equivalent in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance
- Minimum of 10 years in Accounting experience and Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant
- Senior management experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Cost Control, System Review & Analysis, Internal Control, Internal Audits, Business Management
- Strong Communication Skills
