The RoleThe RoleBased in: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Reporting to: Managing Director/CEO Managing: IT Manager, HR & Administration Manager, Finance & Accounting Manager Job Summary: Responsible for Directing all the Support Services Division activities, including Human Resources & Administration, Information Technology and Finance & Accounting to ensure that all of these activities are in accordance with MaCeen Capital set of objectives, targets, policies and processes. Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Strategic • Develops Information Technology, Human Resources & Administration, and Finance & Accounting functions’ strategies, business plans and budgets in accordance with MaCeen’s overall strategic intent and direction. • Reviews the Information Technology, Human Resources & Administration, and Finance & Accounting functions’ policies and processes inline with all regulation requirements to control all related activities within the MaCeen Capital. Operational • Directs the development of yearly budgets and budget amendments to ensure the liquidity and adequate administration. • Contributes to the successful completion of daily, weekly, month-end close, quarterly and annual close processes in a timely and accurate manner. • Ensures that the budgeting activities performed by the functions’ managers are aligned and in accordance with MaCeen’s set of objectives and targets. • Manages MaCeen’s risk exposure by ensuring that all systems, controls, tools, processes and procedures are structured correctly in line with the overall company’s business plans and objectives. • Accountable for MaCeen specific accounting activities including general ledger, period end/ year end closing, consolidation and financial reporting. • Oversees the preparation and issuance of MaCeen’s periodic financial reports. Reviews the operational and financial results of MaCeen and compares results against objectives and budgets. • Ensures that the IT services meet with the minimum quality standards at MaCeen with the availability of appropriate IT business contingency plans and disaster recovery plans in case of system break down or failures. • Monitors the activities of Human Resources & Administration function which includes Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, Performance Management, Career & Succession Planning, as well as Administration Services in order to achieve business objectives. • Reviews recommended changes by HR & Administration Manager on the organizational structure and raises them to the CEO attention. • Acts as the point of contact for authorities and external auditors, in case of questions regarding finance and accounting, year-end closing, human resources and all other support related issues. People Management • Provides guidance and leadership to all Support Services members to ensure effective and efficient flow of work, and help them recognize their fundamental role in their functions. • Monitors the adherence of Support Services employees to the MaCeen’s guidelines, policies and processes. • Conducts annual performance appraisal to review direct subordinate performance, carries out disciplinary meetings when needed and recommends salary adjustments and rewards based on their performance. |
RequirementsRequirementsCandidate Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors in Finance and Accounting, a Master's in Finance and Accounting would be advantageous. Extensive years of finance executive level experience in the financial and real estate investment sector.
