The RoleThe RoleJob Description: • Design and implement a Risk and Fraud Management strategy and framework. • Assist the Accounting Manager to develop and implement internal controls. • Plan, manage and conduct the Compliance, Risk, Financial, Process Control, Assets, IT and Quality Audits including subsidiaries and JVs consistent with International Audit Standards. • Develop and implement testing and auditing procedures for automated controls systems within the company. • Review the Annual Report prior to submission to external auditors in preparation for publication. • Conduct risk assessments and audits risk and fraud management strategies. • Report on company compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). • Liaise with external auditors. • Audit and reports on joint venture partner compliance with various JV agreements. • Auditing of the accounting and financial statements of company and wholly owned subsidiaries. • Audit and make recommendations on accounting process reviews, process streamlining and the systems (e.g. SAP) automation projects |
RequirementsRequirementsRequirements: o Minimum of 15 years Internal Audit experience o Degree qualified, preferably at post graduate level o Appropriate professional qualifications o Membership to a relevant professional body o Extensive knowledge of International Audit Standards o Outstanding leadership skills o Proven capacity to communicate complex concepts o Experience with ERP systems is desirable |
