The RoleThe Role Investor and Development of Agribusiness Location: Doha, Qatar Exceptional Expatriate Tax Free Package Our client is Qatars premier investor and developer of agricultural and livestock to ensure food security for the country. Owned by Qatars sovereign fund, this firm invests worldwide, in strategic projects, companies and operators for food security. They have forged partnerships and alliances with key global players in the agribusiness environment worldwide with the aim of securing and improving food supply sources that are in harmony with the environment. They are now seeking an experienced Chief Investment Officer to design the investment process and perform the critical function of asset management for their company. The key responsibilities for this role include: Manage the strategic operational investment planning. Manage all tasks relevant to financial due diligence, asset valuation, financial modeling. Setting-up of financial control systems as well as the identification, screening and capital structuring of direct investment opportunities. Conduct business valuation for PE & JV investments in different sectors globally Manage M&A processes for all relevant investments. Participate in negotiations with considered targets to achieve the investment objectives. Design and implement investment processes to maximize the level of investment returns. Develop the asset allocation levels aimed at creating a balanced portfolio of investments. Oversee and manage the investment and financial advisors team. Develop, implement and manage asset management strategies used for investment purposes and manage day-to-day investment decisions of the company. Develop, implement and manage Asset Allocation Strategies and oversee investment portfolio performance. Identify new investment opportunities. Develop departmental strategy aligned with the overall business plan of the organization. Oversee deal sourcing, investment analysis, deal structuring, due diligence and resolution of any issues identified. Coordinate with other departments for deal closing, performance monitoring of deal companies. Prepare and present investment recommendations to the management and Board. Conduct financial advising jobs such as business plans, business presentations, financial analysis and reporting |
RequirementsRequirements Bachelor or Master Degree of Finance with a CFA, CVA &/or CM&AA certificate. Minimum 10-15 years of business related practical experience with proven managerial capacity in a mid to large size investment corporate environment. Proven experience in foreign investments, mergers, acquisitions, IPO, asset management and capital expenditures analysis & management with a good analytical and research skill. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent managerial and leadership skills. Motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic. Computer literate especially in finance related software packages.
