The Role


The Role

Our client, a private equity and corporate finance firm focused on the emerging markets of India, the GCC and Africa. Their investment approach targets key sectors including real estate, energy and infrastructure.

The CIO will be responsible for:

Help develop a strong pipeline of good quality investment opportunities through proactive business development and developing and employing sector/country knowledge.

Build and maintain strong relationships with global clients, businesses, banking and multilateral partners and government officials to further develop the sector and to develop specific investment opportunities;

As team leader and sector specialist, help evaluate, structure, negotiate, and close new transactions, portfolio restructurings, and mentor and develop junior staff in the global and regional industry departments in the process;

Provide support to Investment committee in processing and supervising regionally managed projects;

Managing strategy development and overseeing all programs and operations for the fund in order to advance and ultimately accomplish targeted goals.

8-10 Years experience

Preferably should have industry experience in the sectors of:

· Agriculture ,
· Healthcare
· Low cast - Housing - Real-estate
· Educational
· Energy _ Natural Resources / oil , gas and Mining
