Job description / Role
Ensure and follow up the implementation of routine maintenance to all equipment owned by the company. Thus ensuring maximum production rates are consistently achieved on site and maintain breakdown analysis for each item of equipment together with its operating report. Supervise and carry out emergency repairs as and when required in order to maintain site productivity and keep breakdown times to a minimum. The majority of the role will be carried out on the project sites.
Carry out preventative maintenance. Make sure routine spare parts are available on each site, maintain spare part records, monitor the usage and order replacements
Requirements
Formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering
Training in hydraulics
Training in diesel engines
Computer Efficient
Strong personality to communicate with operatives and site staff
Minimum 5 years i field of Mechanical engineering
Minimum 2 years in fabrication of ancillary equipment
Minimum 3 years in similar role
