Job title: Chief Resident Engineer – Construction Projects
Salary: $14,000 USD (experience dependant)

Our client, who is one of the leading consultancies in the GCC, requires a Chief Resident Engineer to join them on a permanent based out in Kuwait on a $1.2bn build project, with a view to an immediate start and potential progression within the company.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a solid understanding of the construction industry and is either currently in a Resident Engineer or Project Manager role. Additionally the candidate should possess big project experience of projects worth upwards of 100 million KD.
Duties
• This position entails all typical duties of a resident engineer with an inspection / office engineering staff.Plans, organizes, and supervises resident engineering and construction inspection activities for major transit projects.
• Serve as the senior site representative for the inspection of contractor construction activities, payments, processing and negotiation of claims and change orders, supervise all staff of personnel consisting of engineers, inspectors, project control, office engineers, project administrators, and specialty sub-consultants.
• Leads progress meetings and interacts with client on a daily basis.
• Coordinates responses to RFI’s and other technical issues with design engineers, ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts
