Our Client, one of the leading banks in the region, is seeking to employ a Chief Technology Officer, to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The position requires a Senior individual with extensive experience leading technology architecture and design within retail banking. The role requires a proven leader, who possess strong leadership abilities and the ability to lead the technology team in implementing some major changes planned to take place over the next 4 years. Some of these initiatives include changes to some systems like Payment, ATM Switch, Loan management, Cash management & trade system and the Installation of tier 4 data center (the largest private one in the region). The candidate will also need to contribute towards creating an IT strategy roadmap and should have the capacity to work on behalf of the CIO. Experience in Managing multiple major change initiatives related to technology within a retail banking environment needs to be clearly evident in prior work experience.

Requirements
Requirements:
Retail banking experience is a MUST.
Regional experience is a Plus
15+ years of professional experience
International exposure in mature markets is a big PLUS
Candidate should be very well experienced in IBM infrastructure technologies. (DB2, MQ broker, X-series, P-series etc, Change Management, IT-Operations and Models, SOA)
Can lead and manage Change from a technical standpoint
Strong leadership acumen, ability to push back and challenge.
Should have the ability to do more with less! Therefore the candidate needs to have a very hand on approach.
