Our client, a multi-national design and engineering consultancy have a very exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to work on a number of exciting utility biased projects in one of the Gulf’s most forward-looking and cosmopolitan countries – Bahrain.

Bahrain has over the past 10 years grown to become one of the most sought after locations in the Gulf to live and work, due its liberal economic policies, the lifestyle offered to expats for recreational activities such as bars, fitness centres and shopping malls!

The company has an outstanding reputation for their involvement in mega projects across a range of sectors including water, infrastructure, transport and built environment.

They are now looking to appoint a Civil Engineer into their team based in Bahrain.

Reporting into the Country Manager and working alongside a small team of 8 engineers you will work on a varied number of projects within the water/wastewater space.

You will be a key member of the team and you will be responsible for overseeing and managing 2 x Graduate Engineers.

Requirements

To be considered you must satisfy the following criteria –

• At least 4-5 years experience in a similar Civil Engineering role
• Strong technical skills and proven experience working on water/wastewater related projects
• Degree qualified in relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering
• Excellent IT skills

You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, and a proven flair for working to strict timeframes. Ideally you will be working towards gaining Chartership status and this is something that will be encouraged and supported.
