Job description / Role
Civil Engineer - Roads & Infrastructure
- Inspects site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.
- Gives practical advise on constructional matters.
- Inspects construction, including temporary, works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
- Maintains records of inspections, work executed, etc.
- Directs Inspectors and ensure performance.
- Assists in or measure work done when required.
- Observes site safety procedures.
- Assists in preparation of as-built drawings.
- Assists with inspection of completed works, prepare sang lists and handover to operating authority.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 8 years relevant site supervision experience handling infrastructure projects (e.g. road, underpass, tunnel, underground utilities, district cooling etc.)
- At least 3 years relevant experience in an engineering consulting firm in GCC.
