Civil Engineer

Job description / Role

- Should have good knowledge in infrastructures utility works.
- Onsite Management and supervision of construction works mainly District cooling, Pneumatic Waste Collection & Gas networks.
- Well-versed in review process of Design Drawings, Shop drawings, As-built drawings, Method Statements, ITPs, and Materials, with compliance to required Specifications.
- Supervise the construction works (progress, quality, in compliance with required specifications)
- Should be having good knowledge in survey works and equipments.
- Prepare a program for the work schedule and manage accordingly.
- Proper coordination to be done with all required parties for smooth running of the project.
- Checking and reviewing third party inspection and reports.
- Preparing progress reports, quality reports, As-Built Reports and follow up.
- Should be having good knowledge in relevant codes and standards.
- Review and evaluate contractors quality document submittals.
- Should be responsible for ensuring the inspectors understand their roles and meet RFI deadlines.
- Able to guide and lead a team of inspectors.
- Coordinate and provided feedback for quality and progress issues to senor engineer and Project manager.

Requirements

- A degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years experience with 6 years GCC experience in utilities, Infrastructure and plant construction.
- Must have a valid drivers licence
