The RoleThe RoleObjective: The purpose of this job is to direct a team of design consultants, suppliers and contractors in the design, drafting Main responsibilities : Main responsibilities: 1) Direct Engineering consultants, main contractors and international suppliers from design through to construction and build ensuring deliverables meet agreed specifications. 2)Manage Civil, structural and architectural design work of consultants including calculations, drawings, BOQ/BOM\'s 3) Provide analysis of options in the programme in case of changes or unexpected developments( risk management and risk mitigation) Reporting to : Project Manager Duration : Fixed Term - full time Desired start date : 15th July 2012 Working hours : Sunday-Thursday Gross monthly base salary : TBD |
RequirementsRequirementsUniversity qualifications : Degree qualified in Civil Engineer Previous experience : A minimum of three years work experience in the design and construction of heavy industry preferably metals or similar process industry Specialist knowledge : Have good understanding of HV/LV systems, P&ID's, Fire protection systems, HVAC systems, CCTV, layouts etc Language Skills : English Current Residence : Dubai, Abu Dhabi |
