The RoleThe Role Plan, review and coordinate design and construction operations to ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications. Supervise the engineering team in ensuring completion of the project per schedule within budget and in accordance with quality standards. Monitor, verify and document the work being performed. Review materials acquisitions, RFQs, submittals and ensure contract performance measures are met per the division discipline. Implement project bids from the government, military and private sector as directed. Monitor regularly progress on all job projects Develop and maintain relationship with clients Assure material takeoffs, man hour estimates and material requisition Negotiate price and review project material purchases Coordinate with engineering team, finance, operations and logistics Recommend effective methods of accomplishing work and maintaining schedules, review productivity and identifying trends |
RequirementsRequirements Minimum seven (7) years experience Licensed civil engineer from an accredited or internationally recognized university A leader, a team player and a resourceful and very organized person Proficient in managing and directing people Excellent customer service skills Excellent job time management (must be able to determine when a job is taking too long, why and find resolution) Must be willing to travel from project to project Preferably have work experience in Afghanistan Caucasian |
