Job description / Role
* Overall responsibility for managing the design process and technical compliance
* Report to the Senior Project Manager on a regular basis on the progress and quality of the package and obtain authority for any decisions/ instructions required to ensure continuity in the design function
* Monitoring all work executed, at all stages, to ensure that an accurate and professional service is offered.
* Professional interface with other disciplines, consultants, contractors and Clients
* Manage the quality and timeliness of service delivery
* Manage technical team resources
* Manage contractual deliverables in compliance with the client requirements
* Manage adherence to the procedures described in the design manual
* Create a positive and proactive approach that drives the whole of the team
* Conduct co-ordination meetings and direct actions
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
* 5 years of related work experience in infrastructure design
* 15 years of Highway/infrastructure related work
