Civil Supervisor

Job description / Role

My client is a world leading property developer and requires a Civil Supervisor for one of their prestigious downtown Dubai towers. The successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge and experience in Civil Maintenance and fit out project management. The person will have to be able to deal under stress and pressure and work to tight deadlines.

Principal accountabilities:

• Ensure that all of the building civil maintenance and owner fit-out project coordination are planned and performed using best industry practices.
• Demonstrate expertise in civil works and maintenance and be familiar with the building’s design and maintenance civil components.
• Assist to establish, coordinates and controls the assigned Civil works maintenance activities for the building that will be performed by the outsourced service provider.
• Reports and review issues, concerns, work practices, SOP and guidelines to ensure effective operations, maintenance and safety of all systems and machinery.
• Review the drawings and designs for civil and fit out works.
• Plan, oversee, implement, and monitor maintenance schedules to ensure continuity and smooth flow of repairs/modifications.
• Participate in establishing the civil maintenance and project coordination related operational strategies and guidelines.

Requirements

Required competencies:

• Civil Engineering Diploma,
• Minimum 5 years experience in Fit out management high finish material selection and civil maintenance.
• Excellent organizational skills,
• Excellent work planning skills,
• Good knowledge of Materials, technical and construction,
• Utilize available resources effectively.
