Civil / Structural Engineer

As a Civil/Structural Engineer, you will be involved on a range of projects which are industry and public high profile within Middle East. The roles will be challenging, demanding, varied and offer fantastic opportunities for skill set and career development. You will be required to work autonomously leading a growing team carrying out feasibility works, preliminary and detailed engineering design for a range of civil structures such as underground structures or bridges.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Contributing to the delivery and coordinating other engineering disciplines including, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical engineers;
- Be an integral focus in projects from start to finish;
- Responsible for the production of design solutions, reports, specifications and drawings, covering a range of project requirements from new build to modification, maintenance and refurbishment;
- Contribute to risk assessment and specification documents;
- Liaise with clients, respond to queries and attend design and progress meetings.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced engineer to take a role in the engineering design of a range of underground structures and bridges across the Middle East. Candidates will be experienced and have a personal interest in civil and structural engineering with experience in underground structures or bridges or ideally both. The candidate should possess the essential qualifications, experience, competencies and skills to undertake this role as listed below:

BSc, BEng or higher civil or structural engineering with 10-12 years experience; Chartered status is preferred (MICE or MIStructE or similar); Experienced in underground structures/tunnels or bridges design engineering and able to demonstrate exceptional design engineering and technical competences. Skills in structural engineering, numeric modelling, metro engineering, will all be highly valued and utilised; Good communication skills, good team working skills and good problem solving skills are important for all; Middle East experience is preferred but not essential; candidates must be adaptable and be able to work on a diversified variety of projects.
