Claims Director Insurance Leading International
A leading multi-national Insurance company with HQ in UK are seeking an experienced all round Insurance Claims Director to lead up the KSA national claims department in Jeddah, KSA.
We are looking for a person that has worked in multi insurance environment covering all areas claims such as:
Personal Accident insurance
Yacht and Pleasure Craft insurance
This role directs and leads a claims community at country level. You will report directly to the CEO of the country. As a respected member of the senior leadership team you will shape the development and delivery of business strategy. You will influence business colleagues and key customer and intermediary executives to shape and gain buy-in to the claims strategy, lead the claims function to drive the achievement of performance targets and ensure the necessary claims capacity and capability are effectively developed and managed to achieve them. You will be an experienced leader with extensive knowledge of claims and direct experience of working in several Technical areas.
Leading the development and implementation of the countrys claims strategy that will support delivery of the local area and national business strategy and goals to align with the Regional and Group Claims strategy and policies.
Directing the definition, implementation and optimization of Claims operations and supply chains to minimize costs and maximize service levels.
Ensuring effective oversight and control of claims settlements in line with agreed policy and risk appetite, reporting and making recommendations to the CEO and when required, Region.
Providing expert advice and guidance to the country and when needed the Regional Executive on all claims matters, directly or through appropriate external advisers, to inform decision making.
Leading, monitoring, managing, controlling and improving department claims and business operations, resources and performance in line with agreed performance targets, standards, budgets and wider business objectives.
Building and maintaining effective working relationships with other business areas and functions in order to maximise the effective operation of the team/department/unit.
Recruiting, managing, coaching, developing and motivating the team/department/unit to ensure delivery of the required standards of performance now and in the future
You should have proven track record in:
Management of substantial multi-level Technical organisation.
Driving that team to achieve revenue and cost targets.
Successfully implemented and embedded major change to a service organisation.
Contributed to the development and supported the delivery of business unit strategy.
