Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To liaise with Security and Cleaning appointed Service Provider on TPQ so as to ensure that a seamless service is provided to Assets Management.

To provide and manage the implementation of Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) to the extent that it satisfies Assets Management (retail) requirements.

To ensure mitigation of all cleaning & security risks on TPQ by advising the security and cleaning activities to that extent.

To assist with developing the primary security and cleaning capabilities to strive to become best in class, including training and development where required.

To maintain a professional and positive working relationship with all security and cleaning service providers through regular contact and the establishments and maintenance of formal coordination mechanisms.

To provide basic first aid assistance when required and ensure required First Aid Training certification.

To perform any other duties relevant to the role as require from the Company from time to time.

To provide guidelines for monitoring and the use of control mechanisms enabling the security and cleaning to be fully accountable for the efficient operations of the cleaning and security activities.

To coordinate, supervise and management of day-to-day housekeeping, cleaning and security activities, indoor plant maintenance and pest control services, processes and procedures, as deployed to Assets Management.

To ensure all consumables are well stocked and controlled by implementing proper stock control mechanisms covering all changing trends.

To develop and implement a robust security & cleaning program which includes defining and implementing a specific process of assessment and developing statistical reporting incident data analysis and continuous improvement recommendations for Assets Management (Daily, Weekly & Monthly).

To develop a comprehensive Security and Cleaning Management Plan depending on geographical areas (zones), parking garages, types of assets, related requirements, required operation manpower plan to ensure best utilization in the Retail Precincts, in Master Community Areas and in properties under UDC management, as well as non-UDC.

To collaborate with Retail, Residential, UFMCO and service providers to ensure cleaning, safety & security is maintained.

To provide guidelines, in line with the approved SLA’s for security & cleaning of all Landlord Property.

To respond to cleaning and security related incidents within relevant area of responsibility, and as agreed including understanding & resolving any deficiencies.

To contribute to the provision of an appropriate and accurate Management Information System for Security and Cleaning.

To manage all security and cleaning requirements in accordance with prescribed processes and SOW’s, ensuring a seamless dispatch of resources as required.

To coordinate any special event or promotion undertaken in the applicable Retail Precinct from time to time in so far as maintaining cleaning and security standards.

To liaise with UFMCO management and related authorities to ensure compliance to all statutory and regulatory requirements.

To manage daily interactions applying Management Principles means, planning, organizing, directing, leading & controlling.

To develop and maintain administrative procedure and other documents relating to the security & cleaning scope.

To ensure regular upward written and verbal communication processes in order to provide feedback and obtain the required management support as required from time to time.

Requirements

High School or Equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree

Professional qualification in any of the following fields – Soft Services, Cleaning or Housekeeping, Security Employment in a Facilities Management Company or Consultancy with specific focus on the subject area.

Bilingual – English / Arabic

Other languages would be an advantage

Experience in the Soft Services, Cleaning or Housekeeping, fields for 5-10 years

Computer literate

Training in Health & Safety

Able to work on own initiative

Writing skills for reporting purposes

Should be a team leader and a good communicator

Positive attitude

Commercially or Retail focused
