Job description / Role
Objective:
To lead and manage responsibility of the respective Life/Medical Corporate Clients portfolio.
Main Responsibilities:
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Monitoring client satisfaction and addressing concerns. Building, developing and managing accounts. Renewal of the existing portfolio, a review of insurable risks and exposures.
• Marketing and tendering of the insurance requirements at renewal. Reviewing market analysis to determine client needs and designing insurance programmes.
• Developing and making presentations to key decision makers. Managing annual insurance renewals including strategy development and timelines. Expansion of the existing portfolio through business penetration.Ensuring the accuracy of Policy contracts and any documentation going out to clients.
Requirements
University qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree graduate
Previous experience : 5-10 years experience in Medical/Life insurance industry (either Insurer / Broker)
Specialist knowledge : Sound understanding of the Medical/Life Insurance industry, along with understanding of the specific role of a Client Manager and its working practices
Other Skills : Strong technical Medical/Life skills i.e. product knowledge, basic underwriting knowledge.
Knowledge of and experience with various sales techniques.
