Thomson Reuters is looking for a Client Specialist, covering cross assets to be based in Riyadh, to represent our Financials business.

This position will form a crucial part of Thomson Reuters ongoing growth in the financial (Asset/Wealth Management, Equities, Banking and Research) desktop space. The main purpose of this role is to build and grow desktop sales by embedding TR products into the daily workflow of Asset/Wealth Management, Equities, Banking and Research end-users. To provide value-added expertise (workflow solutions, consulting, guidance, learning) to allow Asset/Wealth Management, Equities, Banking and Research end-users to extract the most value from their TR desktop. To drive desktop revenue retention among existing clients. To build relationships and communities with Asset/Wealth Management, Equities, Banking and Research end-users by understanding and fulfilling their business needs. To communicate and share timely market event information to F2F staff in order to materially impact customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for a "book" of Asset/Wealth Management, Equities, Banking and Research business of desktop products and clients (including retention, growth, training and customer engagement), directly aligned with the account team.
- Maintain desktop retention at client, as outlined in the account plan to include targeted training through the use of expert workflow management.
- Drive desktop sales including: (a) development & execution of on-site displacement programs (b) execute campaigns, develop and deliver customer relevant content campaigns (c) enhance user experience through expert use of workflow management (market insight, idea generation, tools, tips to relevant end-users).
- Collect and share competitive intelligence and maintain (e.g. heat maps).
- Up sell and drive messaging/community building, transactions and desktop add-on modules.
- Provide customer feedback directly to product development/SBU (represent voice of the customer).
- Provide as needed support to the Direct Account Team for Demo's and retention on accounts outside of the CS "book" of business to promote growth and retention.
- Enter relevant data into appropriate CRM systems as required

Requirements

- University degree (preferably a Finance or Banking Major) or Equivalent - MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Deep Understanding of the Asset/Wealth Management, Equities, Banking and Research, market dynamics & fundamentals as well as markets players & workflows and a general understanding of financial markets.
- Arabic Speaking (Preferred).
- Significant Workflow Expertise (e.g. knowledge of Asset/Wealth Management, Equities, Banking and Research customer base work flows and how they are measured and motivated, etc).
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively build, maintain & leverage relationships with clients and users to provide business benefit and growth in the future and to support Account Teams in future sales.
- 2-3 years of industry related experience in Asset/Wealth Management, Equities, Banking and Research (Investment Bank, Asset management firm etc...).
- Proven ability to identify revenue growth opportunities.
- Training or related experience preferred
