Job description / Role
Candidate promotes excellence in nursing practice through the five main role components of: Clinician, Consultant, Educator, Researcher and Leader.
Serves as the contact person for select patient populations and may be responsible for triaging and coordinating the interdisciplinary plan of care.
Assumes leadership roles within their unit, program and across the hospital/community, influencing clinical nursing practice and provision of care.
Requirements
• BSc in Nursing or equivalent
• Post-graduate qualification in your area of specialty i.e. breast cancer, chemotherapy, palliative care in oncology
• A minimum of 5-8 years clinical experience working within your area of specialty within an established cancer centre or cancer unit
• Previous/current experience working as a Specialist Nurse or full understanding of the role of a Specialist Nurse
Desired but not essential:
• MSc in the field of oncology nursing
• Fluency in Arabic
