The Role


The Role


One of my clients is looking for a Business Analytics Presales Specialist to join their team in Dubai. Ideal candidate should have an indepth technical knowledge of Cognos and assist the Software Sales team in driving the business analytics business across the region.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical sales support to Software sales and disseminate product information.

Execute Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for qualified opportunities.

Disseminate Product information and provide Product competitive support to the firms branches and third party channels.

Work closely with the Software sales team to prepare winning customer proposals and conduct customer presentations/demonstrations, road shows and special events;

Participate in second level product technical pre-sales activities for Business Analytics (IBM Cognos, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and Infosphere).

Provide technical assistance to the Software Sales team in the generation of strategic bids.

Configure Software licences against customer requirements.

Co-ordinate for developing the scopes of work and costs for implementation services for Business Analytics (IBM Cognos, SPSS, Infosphere) against specific customer requirements.

Requirements


Requirements


Degree (BSc or diploma) in Engineering, Business Information or any other relevant field is a must.

5+ years of experience in the IT Industry is a must.

3+ years of experience as Technical Sales Specialist in IBM, IBM Business Partner.

Good knowledge of IBM Analytics such as such Algo, Cognos, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), and Open Pages is a must.

Local market knowledge is a plus.
