Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Coiled Tubing Operator is responsible for performing supervised and directed equipment operation required for assigned jobs, equipment maintenance and ensure the Client’s objectives are delivered safely, without damage to the environment and in full compliance with client and ESNAAD Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Policies.

•Participate in the implementation of WSD activities and relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective operations.
•Plan and prepare for assembles equipment for installation and service in Well sites and fields.
•Preparation of equipment for the next job.
•Under direct supervision, performs Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and safety meetings, and the rigging up and down of Coil Tubing service line equipment.
•Performs pre/post job Coiled Tubing equipment inspections. Responsible for safe crane and rigging operations during the delivery of services in accordance with Customer's design and departmental KPI's.
•Monitors well control parameters and calculations before and during job applications.
•Maintains general housekeeping, clean up and repair.
•Performs hydrostatic testing on Blow Out Prevention (BOP) and reels during pre/post job procedures including Preventative Maintenance (PM's).
•Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
•Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.
•Maintain clear and complete records of all activities performed at all times for inclusion in the job report package to the Rigless Package Supervisor.
•Complete all relevant timesheets and charge item paperwork in accordance with the contractual agreement and ensure client signature and acceptance for invoicing purposes.
•Ensure daily equipment maintenance checks on all ESNAAD stimulation equipment on site are performed.
•Carry out basic maintenance of ESNAAD coiled tubing equipment where applicable and report and faults, damage and repairs required through the correct forms in a clear and legible manner for any activities which can’t be completed in the field.
•Assist with internal training of ESNAAD field personnel, both in the MOSB and on working site.
•Maintain close and better relationships with client site representatives and crew members and treat people in a fair and respectful manner.
•Attend internal and external training courses for other services operations as available and applicable.
•Maintain suitable records of all training, knowledge and experience gained for use as evidence towards future competency in each service.
•Work on jobs as a team member in other services as directed while obtaining the maximum exposure and experience in that service.
•Ensure safe execution and delivery of well service activity in line with ESNAAD HSEEQ legislation, client expectations, Policy and Procedures, etc.
•Ensure all activities undertake are discussed in a tool box meeting, covered by procedure, adequately risk assessed and understood by all crew members involved in the task.
•Ensure all ENADD CT equipment maintenance routines are carried out in a timely manner and documented and reported to Rigless Package Supervisors accordingly.
•Ensure that all ESNAAD CT equipment is operated in a safe manner and within its working parameters.
•Ensure that HSE incidents are reported in line with regulations and client guidelines in a timely manner.
•Comply with ESNAAD quality, safety, environmental management systems and procedures to ensure all duties are executed in a safe manner minimising harm to the environment.

Requirements

Knowledge:

- Completion of Secondary (12 years) education in English, Mathematics or a science subject.
Or High School education and Diploma/ Certificate in Coil Tubing training.

- Valid UAE Driving License

- Further education certification in either mechanical, chemical or electrical/instrument disciplines.

- Mechanical and maintenance experience in fault finding and repair of equipment.

Skills:

- Minimum 5 years practical mechanical exposure and as an Operator Assistant.

- Given the nature of oil field service work, must possess good interpersonal and communications skills.

- Computer awareness in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel programmes.
