Collector - Automotive FAMCO - Dammam, Saudi Arabia

We are looking to recruit an experienced Accountant who will be responsible for General accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that company systems and procedures relating to cash, stocks and administrative documents are being followed by Locations/Cost Centers.
- Oversee tracking of cash deposits and transfers as well any currency exchange issues; oversee reconciliation of bank statements; manage credit card purchase/payments process;
- Identifies and keeps record of company owned assets, conducts periodic inventories to keep records current and ensure that assets are properly maintained, summarizes statements on annual basis for income tax purposes.
- Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
- Develop and maintain financial data bases.
- Liaising with external auditor and coordinate the audit process.
- Liaising with Banks, monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences.
- Liaising with Insurance Companies, monitor premium charges, lodge claims and follow up for the same.
- Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations.

Requirements

- A Graduate degree. It is preferable that you have a Bachelor of Commerce or a Finance/Accounting related degree.
- Candidates with further specialized accounting qualifications/certifications will be preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in Accounting.

Job-Specific Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel and Power Point skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to multi-task.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Enthusiastic and pro-active approach.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work to deadline.
