Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Assistance to the Mechanical Value Engineering

• Listing of engineering deliverable document and estimation of manpower/man-hour to be executed

• Making of time schedule for engineering activities

• Preparation on document related to design as below:

- Specification

- Data sheets

- Requisition

- TBE

- TBE meeting notes

- Vendor kick-off meeting agenda & meeting notes

- Correspondence with Vendor

• Review of vendor prints

• Review of Inspection & test plan

• Giving Correct Design Information to Relevant Design Team

• Coordination with Vendor

• Coordination with client / licenser and other disciplines for engineering activities

• Preparation of QA/QC plan and QC check list for internal audit as a part of Company implementation of quality system

• Assistance to inspection department during Factory Acceptance Test

• Field engineering activities

• Review on Information & Correspondence provided by Client / PMC / Licensor

Requirements

• B.S. or equivalent degree in Engineering

• Have a minimum of 7 years extensive experience in combustion equipment design (Fired Heaters, Reformers, Flares, Incinerators, Boilers for Oil & Gas, LNG, Refining, Petrochemicals)

• Have at least one PMC service experience or more for Oil & Gas, LNG, Refining and Petrochemicals

• A proven track record of working on FEED and EPC phases for major Oil & Gas, LNG, Refining, Petrochemicals

• Oversee the Design works performed by the EPC Contractor

• Ability to deal with resolution of technical and contractual issues and policing of the design to ensure compliance with project requirements

• Proven PMC / Owner’s Engineer experience

• Experience in a similar role within the contractor environment

• Knowledge of international codes and specs

• Proven strong character and self-motivated individual

• Proven ability to engage in effective dealings with both client / owner and detail design contractors

• Display a good overall knowledge of rotating equipment found on oil and gas projects, such as FD fans, ID fans, pumps and their drivers

• Comment on Contractor's design documentation

• Coordinating and resolving comments from Client to Contractor

• Providing advice and experience to the Client

• Monitoring and reporting on the Contractor's performance on a regular basis
