Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Primary Responsibilities:

You will be expected to have come from an investment banking, consulting or commerce background with a strong focus on infrastructure. Your background will be heavily commercial and you will have advanced modeling skills - as the subject matter expert in this area you will be expected to share your knowledge with the wider team in this area. You will ideally have experience in PPP or project finance with more than 10 years experience in this type of role. Due to the level of liaison involved you will need to have absolutely top tier communication and the confidence to influence and manage multiple, senior stakeholders.

• Assist in preparation & development of financial models & documents for investment opportunities & bids
• Support preparation of financial information for business plans & investment proposals
• Assist in discussions with funders, potential investors & supply chain partners
• Support implementation of funding solutions
• Update financial model & monitor financial risk on projects
• Market research and assisting with documentation for the bid process
• Internal and external liaison including face to face communication, influence of stakeholders and understanding multiple needs
• Managing stakeholders against budget and timeline of projects
• Project reporting against multiple objectives
• Prepare detailed presentations and pitch documents
• Conduct industry research and analysis
• Undertake detailed financial analysis and modeling, including building and manipulating financial models
• Presenting and communicating your assumptions, modeling concepts and industry research to internal stakeholders and external clients
• Actively liaise with counterparties such as sponsors and equity investors

Requirements

Education:
• B.S. in Business or Accounting
• M.B.A. (preferred)

Experience & Skills:
• Experience working in investment or institutional banking or directly in the project finance sector
• Exceptional financial modeling and analysis skills
• Exposure to sectors such as utilities, transport and energy would be favourable
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• More than 10 years of experience in Project Finance, Government Planning Agencies, Transportation Forecasting, Infrastructure Development, or Investment Firms
• Infrastructure Financial modeling, transportation modeling or socio-economic impact modeling experience
• Exceptional written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed on long term assignments across the United States
