Employment: Full Time

A Leading project management company is looking for an experienced Commercial Associate Director to join their team in the UAE.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Head up a team of experts and responsible for developing, managing and executing all phases of the project controls effort (planning/scheduling, cost analysis, document control management), contracts management and administration.
Utilizes widely diversified knowledge of pre-contract and draws upon vast experience and exposure to retail project and clients to facilitate effective management of projects.
Provides guidance and specialized assistance to the Program Director for specific pre-contract works and business development.
Guide the Client and chair regular contractor, consult and client meetings.
Review status reports, submit monthly reports and deliver presentations regarding the progress of the work with respect to interim and major milestones.
Oversee regular site inspections to give accurate feedback on the contractors work progress based on approved schedule; planned versus actual progress.
Directs a specialized technical team who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones.
Oversees the development and maintenance of an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules.
Evaluates staffing requirements, assigns and supervisors of project work activities.
Is involved in the development of contracts and contract procurement.
Presents statistical reports to internal management on a recurring or one-of-a-kind basis.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
A minimum of 15 years post qualification experience.
Must currently be working as a Commercial Associate Director.
10 managing contracts within the consultancy/construction industry.
Proven understanding of pre-contracts.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
A thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
Experience with design of large scale retail projects.
