Employment: Full Time

International Contracting Business is looking to recruit a Head of Commercial & Contracts .

Working closely alongside the Qatar Country Manager you will be responsible for everything related to the running of projects from a Commercial & Contractual aspect .

You will get involved with clients at pre-award, execution stage on site , appointment of subcontractors and P&L alongside the Project Directors . There will be a dotted line of reporting into the Commercial Director thats based outside of Qatar but within the GCC.

You will be hands on managing 3 commercial teams based on site in Central Doha looking after 3 projects (5*Hotel / Commercial Tower & Hospital).

You will have a track record of managing multiple projects as a Commercial Manager / Department Manager or will have managed and lead a sizeable team on a major project in excess of 2 Billion AED / QAR / 100 Million Sterling.

Requirements

In a brief overview my client want someone with the following:

Educated from a Western University (Europe, Australia & South Africa)

Strong Contractual awareness with some exposure to FIDIC

Degree Educated & Chartered Status / Ideally 20 Years experience

Strong communicator and able to manage and deal with all nationalities

Solid career history with limited job moves . CV will show clear track record of loyalty & success

A Lump Sum Package in the Region of 68-73,000 QAR Plus

Medical, Flights ,Gratuity, Plus Yearly Performance Bonus

The Contractor (Employer) has a superb reputation within the GCC region for winning large scale & complex building & civil engineering contracts.

Having been established over 30 Number Years the employer has a mixture of nationalities with a presence in the following Countries in and outside the GCC Countries UAE, KSA, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, India.
