Commercial Director - Ports / Container Terminal - Egypt

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, energetic and dynamic Commercial Director with a strong sales and marketing background to work for a leading international Port operations company within their operations in Egypt.

The successful Commercial Director will be responsible for developing and driving the business forward in Egypt.

Responsibilities will include:
- Sales and Business Development activities
- Managing the sales and marketing cycle
- Establishing and developing positive working relationships with current clients and potential new customers
- Expand the company operations
- Increase bulk and general cargo levels
- Marketing activities including market analysis
- Be involved in product development
- Working closely with Senior Management in the company
- Dealing with C-Level executives
- A strong background within containerised logistics (Shipping, Freight Forwarding etc.) is a must
- Previous sales, business development and marketing experience is a necessity
- A good understanding of the Egyptian market is a must
- Must be fluent in both English and Arabic
