The RoleThe RoleA large business is seeking a Commercial Director to join their expanding company based in Kuwait. You will be required to protect and pertain the company's contractual rights and ensure company policy and procedures are implemented. Additionally you will be responsible for ensuring contract program requirements are achieved together with quality of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Approving pre-qualification and selection of contractors, reviewing and approving subcontractor tender, contracts and agreement, cost reporting, subcontractor payment, reviewing and follow up of all projects claims will be within the remit of this post. Furthermore, you will be required to review potential heads of claim, identify areas of commercial risk on projects, review supply orders and ensure effective commercial procedures to ensure the company achieves ISO requirements. |
RequirementsRequirementsIdeally, you must speak Arabic and have a civil engineering degree compiled with at least five years' experience within a similar position. Knowledge in project execution, quantity surveying and cost/financial reporting compiled with strong skills in contract management, budget preparation ,cost control & claim management will be necessary for this role.
