Our client is a multinational pharmaceutical organisation that would like to recruit a Commercial Excellence head to drive capability across the Near East

Reports to the General Manager - Near East and will drive commercial excellence to support agreed priorities, strategies and initiatives to embed excellence in frontline execution through sales and marketing engagement. Formulate strategy to achieve optimum utilization of sales force resource and drive sales performance. Establish the conceptual foundation among Sales and Marketing teams to implement effectiveness tools/programs to unlock the business potential and have a world class sales and marketing organization. Lead Sales Force Training & Development, Alternative Channels & Digital Marketing and Sales & Marketing Effectiveness functions.It will be critical to ensure that any/all compliance risks are mitigated by applying transparency in relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This will require the incumbent to formulate, evaluate and implement compliance initiatives in line with global compliance practices

Scope of this position is within 4 markets across Near East i.e. Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.

Requirements

- MBA (preferred) or Bachelor degree with 8-10 years of experience
- Experience within pharmaceutical, OTC, generics, branded generics or FMCG sales and marketing.
- Experience in working cross functionally and across business units to develop strategy and implementation plans.
- Strong financial skills to assess cost/benefit payoff of new ways of doing business in an environment with a great deal of uncertainty as to the true impact on sales.
- Ability to work well with senior in-country management and Business Unit Directors to drive agenda, reach investment agreement and achieve follow through with all parties on committed actions.
- Track record of successful change management.
- Excellent program management and communication skills.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical distributors and pharmacies preferred.
- Commercial understanding and drive: including demonstrable business analytics, business case development and commercial modeling.
- High ethical and Integrity standards.
- Change management leadership with a particular focus on capability building and embedding the knowledge in the business.
- Governance expertise.
