The RoleThe RoleWe are currently recruiting for a high profile retail client who is in search of a Commercial Finance Manager for their business. Your main job role will include: • Prepare initial budget, forecasts and business plans for the Business unit level by collecting relevant business data and projections from line departments • Work out feasibility study of new location / business and provide timely information for taking effective decisions • Provide relevant analysis and feedback to enable finalization of the budgets • Participate in negotiation with third parties to agree commercial terms at competitive process setting clear dealing & delivery standards and performance parameters ensuring company's interests and risk/ exposures are protected. • Monitor the Division's cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity and timely collections from sales. • Monitor foreign exchange requirements and suggest suitable values for cover.after coordination with supply chain coordinators. • Proactively manage inventories and accounts receivable aging in consultation with Operation Managers to minimise risks. • Prepare and present daily reports and data to top management about net inflow/ outflow of cash and daily takings. Prepare a three months rolling cash projection with the objective of extending it to six months with suitable ERP support. • Prepare MIS reports and Dashboard highlighting key performance ratios as per financial calendar schedule, ensuring their accuracy and offering expertise in interpretation of the same to the concerned management team. • Analyze, research and report on factors affecting/ influencing business performance. Extrapolate trends and forecasts by use of suitable business/ finance models |
RequirementsRequirements• Professional qualification in Finance • 7 - 10 years experience, some of which in a retail or FMCG environment • Commercial acumen and financial planning expertise • Experience in ERP environment a distinct advantage |
