Job description / Role
Allen & York Middle East have been mandated to recruit a Senior Advisor for Commercial Finance to be based in the United Arab Emirates. Our client is a leading international energy company. The role offers exceptional career opportunities and attractive tax-free package.
Starting date ASAP.
The candidate will be in charge of providing finance support to projects, including M&A deals, disposals, capital projects and JVs.
Based on the analysis, the Senior Advisor will be expected to execute the transactions.
The execution may involve managing external advisors, deal timetables and DD exercises, and ultimately execution of the project finance requirements.
The Commercial Finance Senior Advisor will report to the Vice President Finance.
Key activities will include:
Support the business to make significant investments, divestments and funding decisions
Execute transactions (cfr above)
Build and check financial and economic models
Perform valuations
Engaging and selecting and managing external advisors
Analyze key market price-setting drivers
Requirements
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should:
possess an MBA from a leading international institution
have at least 10 years business experience in the in-house finance team of an O&G, Renewables and/or Power & Water developer or in the energy practice of a leading financial institution
be able to demonstrate several successful full-cycle project financing deals
have experience with energy projects in the MENA region
Compensation & Benefits:

Bonus potential up to 25%.
