Employment: Full Time

One of the world’s largest Building Materials companies requires a Commercial Manager to oversee the development and growth of their Aggregate operations in Nigeria.

This is an ideal opportunity to join a market leader and develop you in the market place as they offer extensive training and development within the role.

This will be a pivotal role in the development of their new Aggregate division as you will be responsible for building relationships with new clients and suppliers in country.

Duties will include:
• Develop the new Aggregate division from Greenfield
• Manage the day to day operations of the department allowing the growth of the division.
• Visit potential quarry sites throughout Nigeria and assess their feasibility.
• Build relationships with key companies and individuals throughout Nigeria.

Requirements
• A minimum of 5 years in the Aggregate market, additional Ready Mix Concrete / Cement experience is ideal.
• Previous experience of developing a new division, product or key account will be looked upon favourably.
• Experience of Operational Management will be highly advantageous.
• A strong understanding of the quarrying process.

Requirements

University Qualifications: BSc
Other certifications obtained: Market related
Nature and length of previous experience: Strong background in Commercial / Business Development roles, some experience in Operational Management is ideal.
Specialist knowledge: Cement, Ready Mix Concrete, Aggregates, Building Materials, Construction Materials
