Commercial - Main Contractor
Client Profile:
Our client is a major Saudi Arabian Building Contractor who employs a significant number of western expats on their projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Established for over 40 years they have constructed many high profile projects in the Kingdom in the commercial, residential, military and medical sectors.
They are the main contractor on a multibillion dollar university, medical and residential complex in Riyadh and require a Senior Structural Engineer to interface with the clients design team and to check and monitor the structural integrity of the design on behalf of the contractor.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Procurement management of contractors
- Contract management and administration including breaches of contract terms
- Budget and cost control
- Variation assessment and claims management
- Value Engineering
- Capable of providing planning, leadership, direction and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multidisciplinary projects.
Requirements
15 years practical experience
Experience in hospital or the pharmaceutical industries a distinct advantage
Relevant Third level qualification.
Main Contractor Experience would be beneficial
Experience on Mega projects an advantage
Middle Eastern experience
Progressive career development with proven loyalty shown to previous employers.
