The RoleThe RoleI am looking for a Build Contracting Commercial Manager with 15 years experience in the construction contracting environment to work with a leading contracting company in Abuja, Nigeria's capital city. You will be responsible for the commercial team and the pre and post contract bidding, winning and commercial delivery of multiple projects covering Leisure, commercial, retail, Government contracts etc. With project values ranging up to $50,000m USD. Your scope will cover the full commercial operation of the department, developing a strong focus on contract administration, detailed estimates tender adjudication and tender finalisation, tender documentation control and analysis BOQ production, feasibility study, cost plans and budgets, value engineering, commercial management of ongoing projects, risk assessment and mitigation. |
RequirementsRequirementsI am looking for a commercial manager with depth of contracting experience overseas and comfortable with FIDIC Contracts and their variations. You should be a seasoned expat worker who is accustomed to working overseas in what can be difficult circumstances. You should be well qualified in Quantity Surveying with Ideally MRICS accreditation. You will be used to running a multi-cultural team. You will have 15 years contracting experience with 5 years in a senior management capacity and at least 5 years working overseas. |
