Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a construction consultancy business that is looking to hire a Commercial Finance Manager to oversee and upgrade project analysis and commercial support across their regional business.
As Commercial Finance Manager you will be responsible for the design and development of strong, accurate and timely commercial and financial reporting across the group’s project pipeline and operational business. You will work closely with the project teams to assess ways of increasing profitability through cost management, efficiencies and delivery. This will include covering areas of risk assessment and management, coupled with legal review and contractual negotiation to ensure thorough and comprehensive financial analysis of bids and tenders.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA), with a strong and robust commercial acumen allowing for a strong partnership with both internal and external stakeholders. A financial insight will also be required to complete project based audit whilst ensuring compliance procedures are met and executed accordingly. Our client is looking for a candidate with an understanding of consultancy and construction related matters and businesses, whereby value-add can be contributed within this commercial finance team.
