Are you an experienced Commercial Manager, seeking the opportunity to enhance your career on a $billion luxury resort project in Morocco?
Our client is one of the Middle East’s premier construction consultancies who have an outstanding reputation of success. They provide project management services on a wide variety of professional projects in various locations throughout the Gulf and North Africa.
Based on the outskirts of Tangiers in Morocco this high profile contract requires a hands on Commercial Manager to be involved in the development of a luxurious tourist resort covering over 2,300,000 sqm of coastline overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The resort will include deluxe residential buildings, a variety of spectacular restaurants, an 18-hole golf course, a prestigious country club and picturesque beaches. Project duration 5 years.
Once completed the location is tipped to become a top destination for tourists from Europe, Middle East and North Africa.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will have sole commercial responsibility for the scheme; managing a team of six.
Requirements
In order to be considered for the Role you will:
• Possess a relevant construction degree.
• Have previous claims experience.
• Have commercial experience in interpreting contracts and their conditions.
• Have previous experience with contracts administration.
• Be responsible for all aspects of cost control.
• Be competent at preparing reports and budgets for executive management.
• Have previous working experience in the Middle East/North Africa.
For the ideal candidate our client can offer a net salary package of QAR45-50,000 per month (actual salary will be paid in Moroccan Dirhams)
