Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose:
To coordinate the back office support to the sales teams regarding customer quotations, clarification of terms and conditions (commercial and technical) in response to RFQs and tenders and then ensure orders are processed within contract terms and that best possible margins are achieved

Key Accountabilities

•To process orders and ensure Company’s terms are accepted and margins are achieved by effectively managing the Commercial Sales Support team and close coordination with GM Sales.
•To accurately inform senior management of performance by producing a monthly sales plan and budget and forecasting reports.
•To ensure the most profitable return to the company by ensuring that quotation prices maximise profit contribution and personally participating in/supporting the negotiation of prices and contract terms to deliver the highest possible margins and value from each deal (in the absence of the GM Sales)
•To support sales activity by ensuring that the overall sales process are effectively managed – e.g. supporting the coordination of timely invoicing and collection of payments and where necessary blocking further deliveries to customers where payments are excessively overdue.
•To oversee the successful performance of the department by setting monthly target margins in conjunction with GM Sales, and VP Sales and then monitoring this performance closely.
•To help the sales teams to increase their sales penetration rate by providing timely technical and commercial support.
•To monitor business performance by preparing and presenting monthly reports on total sales and order intake as well as production and delivery schedule achievement to GMs Sales and VP Sales.
•To ensure a coherent and transparent process between sales, technical, planning and logistics departments with effective, timely communication and updates.
•To ensure the satisfaction of long term/loyal and strategic customers by continuously monitoring and introducing innovative processes to enhance their experience with the Organization.
•To ensure that annual staff leave, appraisal, sickness, capability and disciplinary matters of his staff are dealt with in accordance with company policy
•To establish credit line agreements then monitor their performance for better future results.

Requirements

•Qualifications: ideally Degree in Accounting
•Minimum 3 years experience within a contracting/ engineering industry
•Minimum 3 years experience in sales/estimating/ customer service environment at senior manager level
•Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken)
