Job description / Role
We are a company of 420 employees operating in the food industry in Sharjah. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team and take the full responsibility for our procurement function.
Principle responsibilities include:
- Establish strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high quality products at lowest prices;
- Develop procedures and controls for the Purchasing department;
- Arrange tenders and supplier bids/quotations comparison and analysis;
- Draft and facilitate the signing of procurement contracts;
- Ensure reliability of the supplier and product master data;
- Provide effective leadership of Purchasing department staff.
Total monthly package will be AED 18,000-25,000 including benefits such as 30-days annual leave, annual leave ticket to the employee and his/her family, medical insurance.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and excellent workplace and personal ethics;
- Experience in senior Purchasing/Commercial position minimum of 5 years of which at least 2 years of experience in UAE;
- Experience in contracts preparation and negotiations;
- Excellent computer skills, with experience in MS Office;
- Relevant university degree.

Our main catering unit and offices are located in Sharjah, however, goods and services are provided also in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
