Job description / Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading business based in the Middle East. Our client is a well known operation and with successful tender bids for various projects across the Middle East seek to recruit the position of Commercial Manager.
Reporting to the General Manage the key duties of this role will include:
- Provide commercial, contractual and financial management services to the business and ensure that project . company profit targets are met.
- Negotiation with project designers sub contractors and suppliers.
- Preparation of monthly contract review reports and monthly management accounts information.
- Ensure all projects have clear and deliverable commercial strategies.
- Preparation of project cash flow's and commercial forecasts.
- Control and manage project surveying teams.
- Identify variations and implement change control processes to ensure client agreement.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have a strong commercial background and be efficient around financial targets and forecasts. The ability to meet tight deadlines is also a must.
Good written / reporting skills are key as is the ability to seek ways to add value to the business. You will demonstrate strong problem solving and people management skills whilst ensuring change controls are carried out when required.
