Commercial Officer OCC - Qatar Airways - Doha

The role of the Commerical Officer OCC is to add a pan-commercial to all operational disruption decisions. In this role, you will take into consideration the needs of the customer, options available through inventory access, dispersal potential, interline agreements and current customer feedback. You must be able to pro-actively weigh up the risks and opportunities and communicate this effectively to other CC representatives.

You will monitor the operational schedule for deviations and analyse the impact from a commercial perspective. You will be the main contact person from Commercial Division. You will gather and coordinate commercial feedback - Global Sales, Field Sales, Distribution, Revenue Management for use in CC decisions. You are required to find solutions to problems as quickly as possible, ensuring all problems are dealt with fairly, honestly and openly.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role must have worked in a Commercial role for at least 3 years. You must have good knowledge of Amadeus, DCS, Altea/LSY, AIMS systems. You must have the ability to understand and analyse Origin/Destination dimensions of passenger flow across the network and has the ability to interact and communicate with all facets of the Airline.

You must possess strong quantitative skills and advance problem solving capabilities. You must be pro-active and able to work without direct Commercial supervision. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and you must be able to work under strong pressure.
