The RoleThe RoleWorking for a large international retail group with on-going expansion into new regions. A person is required to work in partnership with all of the business units to ensure that the business is supported to allow all of the business units to focus on their objective. You will be responsible for the managing of several support functions whilst continually improving and updating existing company policies and procedures for the shared services. Responsible for: Develop and drive the procurement process across 11 countries (non-merchandise ) Develop and update company policies and procedures in his domain Mange support functions like loss prevention, travel and transportation Ensure that risks are identified and managed effectively Drive major efficiency improvements and cost savings. Support the countries finance managers to replicate major corporate initiatives in their countries |
RequirementsRequirementsThe successful candidate will ideally come from the retail industry with experience in: Procurement Contract management Transport and travel management Business unit partnering. Having worked in a senior 'troubleshooting' role before you will be equipped with the skill-set and knowledge to be able to assist with ad-hoc queries to enable the optimisation of business processes across the group |
